I give data a visible form. For clients, and for myself. One gesture, two settings.
Nothing turned over at once. Projects piled up alongside the commissions: a beehive weighed every hour, the sky over Bordeaux, the light inside a house, what I listen to. Only when I saw them side by side did I realise they were saying the same thing.
I look for the living and the intimate, recorded over time. Measurements taken for no one: a colony breathing, a winter, a habit. Nothing worth looking at over a single day. Left running long enough, they write something nobody decided. I read them as landscape — ridges, seasons, accidents — not as evidence.
The gesture comes in three moves: choose what gets measured, wait, then find the form that makes the series worth living in. No form is neutral: a scale, a colour, a crop decide what will be seen. It all still happens in the browser, in JavaScript. Large-format prints are in preparation: paper forces a decision, and it holds a long look.
Freelance and artist, with no hierarchy between the two. The commissions fund the work and sharpen the eye; the personal practice gives it its sense and its signature.
